A. Basith won the best poster award within the “Applied Sciences and Engineering” discipline at the International Poster Presentation Competition (IPPC)-2020 held in September-October, 2020 among the participants from four different countries i.e. Bangladesh, India, Thailand and Sri Lanka. The competition was organized by National Young Academy of Bangladesh (NYAB), Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS), Thai Young Scientists Academy (TYSA) and Sri Lankan Academy of Young Scientists (SLAYS).

Our poster titled “Temperature effect on the crystallographic and magnetic properties of Nd0.7Sr0.3MnO3 nanoparticles” by Subrata Das and M. A. Basith won the 1st runner-up poster award within the “Physical Sciences” discipline at the International Poster Presentation Competition (IPPC)-2020 held in September-October, 2020 among the participants from four different countries i.e. Bangladesh, India, Thailand and Sri Lanka. The competition was organized by National Young Academy of Bangladesh (NYAB), Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS), Thai Young Scientists Academy (TYSA) and Sri Lankan Academy of Young Scientists (SLAYS).

Basith won the best poster presentation award (among 141 accepted papers) in the International Conference on Physics-2020 held at Atomic Energy Centre, Dhaka during 05-07 March, 2020. The conference was organized by Bangladesh Physical Society.

Best Paper Awards
Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Basith received outstanding publication award from United Group.

The award was obtained in the general science and engineering category for the paper, ‘

Simple top-down preparation of magnetic Bi0.9Gd0.1Fe1-xTixO3 nanoparticles by ultrasonication of mutiferroic bulk material.

The award money was taka 100,000/- and Professor Basith and Dr. Brajalal Sinha donated their award money to the Nanotechnology Research Laboratory.
